One Billion Dollars in Client Revenue

Hanzo AI has driven over $1 billion in cumulative revenue for our clients through AI-powered marketing and commerce infrastructure.

Today we are announcing a milestone: Hanzo-powered infrastructure has driven over $1 billion in cumulative revenue for our clients.

The Number

$1,000,000,000. Not our revenue — our clients' revenue. Generated through Hanzo's commerce platform, AI-powered marketing optimization, and infrastructure services since 2016.

This number represents:

  • Millions of transactions processed through Hanzo Commerce
  • Billions of AI-optimized ad impressions through our marketing engine
  • Thousands of businesses scaling with Hanzo infrastructure
  • Nine years of compounding platform improvements

How We Got Here

2016-2017: Commerce Foundation

The first $10M was the hardest. Crowdstart-turned-Hanzo with a handful of beta customers, proving that AI-driven commerce recommendations could outperform human-curated ones. Techstars '17 gave us distribution. By Demo Day, 23 customers had generated $42M.

2018-2020: Platform Expansion

$42M became $100M as the platform expanded from recommendations to full-stack commerce: payments, identity, cloud infrastructure. Every new capability reduced the reasons for customers to go elsewhere.

2021-2023: AI Infrastructure

$100M to $500M as the AI wave arrived and our infrastructure was ready. LLM-powered search, AI recommendations, automated marketing campaigns. Customers who had been with us for years suddenly had access to capabilities that transformed their businesses.

2024-2025: Scale

$500M to $1B in 18 months. The Zen model family, unified AI gateway, and Hanzo Cloud brought new customers at unprecedented rates. AI infrastructure became the growth engine.

What This Means

Revenue generated for clients is the metric that matters. Not ARR. Not MAU. Not API calls. Client revenue means businesses grew because of what we built.

Ten thousand businesses. One billion dollars. We are just getting started.
